The team’s favourite small wave secret is out! And it
deserved a title! The Cypher is a "pocket rocket" The Cypher was
originally designed as a short board but translates and scales up
easily to a hi-performance mid-length board. It features a curvy
outline with the widest point slightly forward of centre. The overall
rocker is low with a slight nose tweak and accelerated tail curve.
This endows the Cypher with loads of natural board speed, easy
trim and unexpected glide. A subtle version of the old school "beak
nose" holds the thickness in the foil all the way forward. Low, neutral
rails with a tucked edge transition to hard rails in the tail for quick
response, enhanced speed and acceleration.
The Cypher requires only a slight concave to get the board up and
riding on air. A touch of double concave under your feet direct water
towards the fin cluster and keep the board connected to the wave,
enhancing laminar flow.
We offer the Cypher with a round pin for smooth rail to rail transition
and broad area sweet spot, however, it's good in a swallow or
squash tail too.

Suggested wave range: 2 – 6 feet.
