Australian Made Surfboards

Description
Free Spirit
I've built a number of boards based around this design for friends over the years.
The feedback has been so positive that it's finally earned its place in the stable as a model in its own right.
Designed to deliver effortless paddle power, early wave entry and loads of natural board speed, the Free Spirit has the ability to ride much smaller than its dimensions suggest — carving surprisingly tight arcs deep in the pocket while maintaining glide, flow and drive.
It's a true one-board quiver.
Heading for Byron, Bells, Bali, G-Land, J-Bay or beyond?
This is the board for you.
Referencing the best design ingredients gathered over many decades, the Free Spirit combines a relaxed rocker, beak nose carrying generous forward volume, and a curvy yet highly positive outline.
A subtle concave helps get it up and riding on air, while the tucked edge running nose to tail delivers speed, drive and responsiveness.
The swallow tail allows quick direction changes, positive hold in the tube and the ability to surf tight in the pocket when required.
Set up as either a Quad or Thruster, it's equally at home drawing long flowing lines or being pushed hard through a turn.
A board for the ages.
